Happy Martin Lurther King day everyone!

Can we get a hooray for no classes today?? HOORAY!!

Can you believe that we are more than half way through the month of January? What?? Wasn’t the first day of 2016 just like, yesterday? I’ve realize the closer I’m coming towards the end of my college career, the faster time seems to be moving and honestly, it’s pretty terrifying. I feel like there’s so much I want / need to do that there’s just not enough time to act on it.

I guess in reality I am just terrified of “the real world.” I’m still lost and confused what I want to do as a career and I feel that there’s so much pressure to have your life planned out already at this age. Hopefully I will get my ish together this year and have it all figured out. I’m a true believer that everything happens for a reason and I’ll let life just do its course.

Whew. Sorry, didn’t mean to go on a long spill about me being scared of growing up. Now, moving on…

So we all know that black is pretty much my go to color in the wintertime, I mean it’s not like I have been writing that in every single post for the past week… I think you all get the hint by now. Haha. To add a little color to my wardrobe I added a nice pop of color with this red flannel. I love the contrast of the red flannel with my all black outfit it adds a nice pattern to relatively plain outfit.

Fun fact: I picked up this black and red flannel my first year in college three years ago and it was actually my first flannel I ever owned! Before college I never owned a flannel! Crazy, I know.

I hope you all are having a wonderful day and if you are off from work or school today I hope you enjoy your day off. Be sure to come back on Wednesday for another blog post!

  4. The real world isn't that bad! I graduated a semester early (like a month ago) and I'm doing pretty well. It's been 2 weeks since I became a full adult, but its going pretty well.

    You look great!

  6. I know there is a ton of pressure to have it all figured out, but I think that it's ok to be unsure about things. Life is full of uncertainty and you just have to embrace the now and know that you'll get where you're meant to be when the time is right. Cute outfit!

  10. It's so easy to get stuck in a dark color rut during the winter and I love that you broke out of it with a pop of red plaid. Super cute!
