Happy Wednesday friends!

I hope all of you are having a good week so far! Starting tomorrow I have a pretty heavy work schedule and let's just say I'm going to need a lot of ice coffee to get me through the rest of the week!

Today I'm excited to share this outfit featuring this adorable scalloped edge top that I picked up from Marshalls a few months ago! Marshalls is a hit or miss for me at times. Some days I go in the store for hours and leave empty handed while other days I leave with a cartful of goodies. Thankfully during my pervious shopping trips I managed to score some really great pieces!

What sold me on getting this top was the scalloped bottom. I have always loved scalloped edges on clothing pieces and am always on a hunt for some to add to my wardrobe. Since it was pretty windy on this particular day I layered my outfit with my trusty denim shirt to add some warmth and dress down the outfit a little. Denim shirts are such great pieces to have because they're so versatile and you can use them to dress down an outfit to make it more casual and daytime appropriate! Check out other ways I style my denim shirt here, here, here, here and here. (I told you they are very versatile!)

To finish off this look I added a royal blue statement necklace that popped really well against the light pink top and my favorite pair of black jeggings (I promise I have other pants, I just LOVE these so much!).

I hope all of you have a wonderful Wednesday and I'll see you all again on Friday! (:

Happy Monday friends!

If you have been following me for a while now, then it’s no surprise to you that I love floral print! Actually, I just love flowers in general. They are just so feminine, pretty, and they smell good. How could you not like them?

Today I’m sharing how I style a pair of my favorite floral shorts. This outfit is perfect for those spring days where it’s warm enough to wear shorts, but there is a slight wind. The colors in these shorts are gorgeous and I wanted to especially bring out the orchard / purple color in them by pairing my floral shorts with an orchard / purple colored top. To accessorized I paired the look with my Bauble Bar tassel necklace and my trusty watch.

Unfortunately since I got these shorts a few years ago I couldn’t find the exact ones online and I couldn’t find any that were similar. I did however link some of my favorite floral shorts down below for you all so be sure to check those out!

I hope all of you have a wonderful day!

Blogging bloopers part 3

Hi friends!

I'm back again with a blogging bloopers part 3! (If you miss the last two your can check them out here and here) These really are one of my favorite posts to post because I feel like you can really see more of my personality through these outtakes. Life is way too short to take everything so seriously all the time, so take a step back and laugh at yourself from time to time.

Also, can we pause and take note of the fact that Easter is Sunday?! How did it come so fast?? There are so many adorable Easter decorations in Target and Marshalls right now and it took everything in me to buy everything they had! Next year I'm definitly making note to pick up some Easter decor a head of time so I can deck my place out!

Now, without further ado here are my blogging bloopers! Like always, I hope you all enjoy this post and hopefully get a good laugh out of it!

The wind and I have not became best friends yet... Still working on that. I'll update you all when we do decide to befriend each other!

Update: wind and I are still not friends.

I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend and a happy Easter!! I can't wait to stalk Instagram to see everyone's cute Easter dresses!(:

Athleisure

Popover: Lilly Pulitzer (sold out, but love this one!) // Leggings: American Eagle (similar) // Shoes: Nike (similar)

Hi friends!

Today I am back with another Lilly look for you all! Lately I have been seeing and hearing about the athleisure trend and have decided to try it out. As a college student who struggles with trying to find something to wear when you're running late, I do appreciate that there is a trend now that makes it look like you've tried when you're simply just wearing gym clothes.

For this outfit I paired my Lilly popover with my favorite cropped leggings. I picked these leggings up a couple years ago, but they're seriously my favorite. They are so soft and not see through at all! Since I have picked up these pieces a few years ago and most of them are out of stock, I have linked several similar items down below for you all!
I hope you all are having a wonderful week so for and let me know how you feel about this athleisure trend! Have a great Wednesday!

Blue crush bamboo

Top: Lilly Putlizer (similar) // Jeggings: Target // Shoes: Old Navy (similar) // Watch: Michael Kors (similar in gold) // Bangles: Kate Spade // Cuff: Marshalls
Happy Monday everyone!

I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend! I spent all weekend working and dealing with a load of schoolwork. Let's just say I'm more than ready for Wednesday to roll around because thankfully I'll have a much-needed four-day weekend.

Today I'm super excited to share this Lilly Pulitzer top that I managed to snag from their After Party sale this past January! The second I saw this top and that the print had bamboos all over it I knew I had to pick it up right away.

Growing up my parents always had bamboo plants all around the house. I had a lucky bamboo plant in my room and even when I left to college it still managed to survive in my room back at home and double it's size! Bamboo plants are one of my favorite plants because; well for one they're pretty easy to take care of. If you know me in real life you must know that I am terrible at keeping plants alive. Also bamboo plants symbolize luck. I picked up a bamboo plant last year during my school's Earth day fair to keep on my desk to hopefully bring me some luck in school, I'll update you all on that at the end of the semester... haha.

Do you have a favorite plant? Let me know in the comments down below! Also let me know if you suck a keeping plants a live too so I know I'm not the only one... I hope you all have a wonderful week and I'll be back Wednesday with a new post! (:
P.S. Be sure to "like" me on Facebook! I post sneak peaks allll the time the day before I post an outfit post on the blog!

Spring Bucket List

Happy Friday everyone!

I hope all of you had a wonderful week! My week has been pretty hectic with school, group projects, exams, blogging and work. Whew. Let's just say I'm ready for next Wednesday to get here so I can have a little break!

In honor of spring officially starting Sunday, I'm sharing my spring bucket list with you all! I have already made a fall and winter bucket list and it has been so fun trying to complete these activities! A lot of these may seem pretty cliche spring tasks, but believe it or not I have not done many of these! Such as decorating Easter eggs, picking up some fresh peonies, or a picnic! Hopefully I will get most of these done this season! Let me know what you're looking forward to the most this spring!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Spring has Sprung

Romper: Marshalls (similar) // Flats: Target // Purse: Marley Lilly (on sale!) // Sunglasses: Nasty Gal  (sold out) // Pearl Earrings: Forever 21

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday!

The weather here in Charlotte has been absolutely beautiful lately! It seems like we skipped the transition period between winter and spring and headed straight to 70 degree weather. No complaints here. (:

Today I'm sharing an outfit that is perfect for this beautiful weather we've been having here lately. I picked up this darling little romper at Marshalls about a month ago and am already on a hunt for more like it! This romper is super comfy and the material is great because the sleeves keep me a little warm for when the wind blows, but the material is light enough so I am not burning up in it.

Also, the print on this romper is absolutely beautiful. It reminds me of something I would see on fine china! I decided to pair this romper with my monogram clutch, some nude flats and my favorite sunglasses for Nasty Gal (aka my "sassy glasses"). I also threw my hair up in this little half up - half down high pony. This hair style has been on trend lately thanks to Ariana Grande and I am kind of diggin' it. What do you all think of this hair trend?

I hope you all are having a great week so far and are out enjoying this beautiful weather! Be sure to come back Friday for a new post! (:

P.S. If you haven't yet already, I would love it if you checked out my post for College Fashionista! If you do, be sure to hit the RAD button!
