Happy Monday friends!

So if today's blog post photos look like it was raining when we took them... because it was. hahaha. But really, it started raining right when we went out for this outfit and we thought we could quickly knock out these photos before the down pour.

So if you've been on my blog for a hot second then you know that I have a thing for all things floral. We all know floral print is hot in the spring time (ground breaking, I know.), but florals can totally work in the winter as well! The trick is to get a floral print in a darker color pallet to be wearable in the cooler months.

I picked up this darling floral skirt from H&M during Black Friday weekend (which was not on sale, but I couldn't pass it up!) and love it. Unfortunately this skirt isn't available online, but I have linked several similar options for you all down below. You can also try checking in stores if they have the skirt in stock and I know they have a dress in the same print of this skirt as well! I think this skirt the perfect piece to wear for a holiday party or even to work.

In other non-fashion related news, I'm officially home for the holidays! I am in the mountains for winter break and it's so good to be home with family. As much as I love Charlotte and all there is to do in the city, I do love how I can go out at 5pm and not worry about being stuck in traffic #smalltownlife. I feel like it is officially the holiday season now that I'm home and am excited to start building gingerbread houses and bake cookies with my family!

I hope all of you that are on winter break are enjoying your break from school and catching up on some much needed sleep! I hope you have a great day and as always, thank you for reading!
