Layered Up

We all know that I'm a big fan of big statement necklaces for fall and winter, but for the summer I'm trying out the latest jewelry trend... dainty layered necklaces!

Happy Friday friends!

A jewelry trend that I have been seeing a lot this summer has been layered gold necklaces! To be honest I was a little skeptical about trying this trend out mainly because it's so dainty and I'm more of a big statement jewelry piece type of girl. I recently received this dainty layered necklace in my Rocksbox and decided this would be the perfect time to test out this trend.

When I first saw this necklace I immediately thought of a light summery outfit. I went for a v-neck top to show off the necklace more and added pops of color with my new favorite espadrilles and embroidered clutch! After pairing this outfit together I've kind of see why this trend has been so popular! I have already started to style this necklace more with other outfits and I love the light dainty look of it. This is actually the perfect accessory for the summer because it is so light and a great alternative to a heavy statement necklace. What do you all think about this trend?? Let me know!

On a different and more personal note, if you follow me on Instagram then you may have heard me talking about trying to learn Chinese on Insta stories. It always comes to a shock to people that I am Chinese but I don't know how to speak it. I thought it was finally time for me learn the language after 22 years and it does help that my dad is learning with me too! I'll try to keep you all posted on my progress!

I hope you all have a wonderful day and as always, thank you for reading!
